Surgical Nurse

Becky graduated in June 2009 from NMIT in Nelson with a certificate in veterinary nursing.  She got her lucky break as a locum nurse for the medicine department at Vetspecs, but made the switch to become a full time member of the surgical team.  Becky loves working in an environment where everyday is a challenge and she gets to learn new skills and techniques.

In her spare time Becky is kept busy with her two “rat bag” dogs; Meg and Charlie.  The dog park and the beach are her favourite places to hang out and she loves to dance, meet new people, sing as loud as she can and of course sleep in!
