A Friendly Reminder

The Vetspecs team remain here to support you with a Specialist multi-discipline approach. As we are a referral-only practice, we are an extension (not a competitor) to the great services that veterinary clinics already offer their clients; we strongly believe a supportive, collegial and team approach to animal care is best.  The Vetspecs team are happy to discuss patients on a case-by-case basis, so that we can provide the most appropriate care possible that will suit the individual needs of each patient and their family.

In addition to the array of Neurological, Orthopaedic, Arthroscopic and Soft Tissue surgeries you already know us for, we will continue to provide the following services:

  • Advanced imaging (CT, MRI) with human radiology and veterinary imaging Specialists interpretations
  • Endoscopy with internal medicine Specialist interpretation
  • Radiotherapy with radiation and veterinary oncology Specialists
  • Sonography by a veterinary imaging Specialist
  • PennHIP assessment
  • Helica total hip replacement system, unique to Vetspecs
  • Distant consulting services in other South Island centres by our surgical Specialists
